  • A wine that I really liked. Clear, saturated ruby red, consistent. Intense and enveloping on the nose. Initial impressions of black pepper and underbrush, followed by herbaceous notes, then dark fruit like blackberries and blueberries, and a blooming violet, with slight hints of coconut milk and a balsamic quality. Crunchy.
On the palate, it is dry, soft, and warm. The tannin smooths without dominating. Savory and fresh. It is a full-bodied wine, but its freshness makes it suitable for many occasions. Definitely persistent.
I paired it with lamb chops, and it was a good match.
