New Zealand Trip; 2/10/2024-2/24/2024: Clear ruby. Pure black and blue fruit with a bit of herbaceousness. Medium bodied. Clean blueberry fruit, full of earth, fine tannins, firm, drier finish. Also very good in a straightforward, more modern, polished style. Maybe this is partly a function of it being pure Malbec and not blended. I’d give it a few years and enjoy it over the short to intermediate term after that.
