decanted for 1 hour before serving, which was a little too much. Loved the nose but it was already peaking. Slight bitterness on the palate. A bit of toast with some nice fruit. Unfortunately starting to be a little flat without a long finish. With some vigorous swirling, some really sweet fruit aromas were released.

PNP. From memory. Delicious wine. Fruit still prominent but noticeable oak. This bottle seemed more youthful than I expected. Great balance and very enjoyable with sea bass.

Last bottle of this lieu-dit wine from the slopes leading up to La Combe Lavaux. It has a good dark plum-red colour and, after a bit of bottle stink blew off, a vibrant and powerful nose, with boiled sweets (grapes and blackberries) and violets to the fore, and a tad of spearmint. Open and relaxed on the palate, mouthcoating without being at all heavy, still a bit of chewy tannin, just enough acidity to give it a pleasantly long finish. Very nice wine, and showing well now.

Lovely nose. Somewhat dry finish. Drinking well now. Very good for a village wine.

sweet, ripe fruit, mushrooms, smoked game meats, a hint of preserved plum, beautiful nose! I loooooove this wine.
