  Informal notes on phone -
  
  Nose: blackberry, plum, oak, black pepper, violet
  Palate: dark berry, plum, fine-grained tannins, medium-high acidity, long berry and oak finish
  Other: dark ruby with medium width ruby rim, not as nuanced as 2018 but feels more powerful, don't know that the tannins will stand up to longer aging but a couple years will probably be beneficial
