Nose is a bit tight. Need more air and time in the glass to reveal a subtle bouquet of black fruits, peppercorns, clove and star anise with a touch of dried vanilla beans. The aroma of earthy spices and taut fruits dominated the almost full-bodied palate. Polished texture with a good level of acidity in the core. Tannins are chalky in the finish. Still young, need more time for the tannins to resolve. Drink this in 3-5 years time.
