Dinner at 312 Fish Market (Chicago, IL): Something a little too natty with this, so it tasted a little off for my taste. Nowhere as good as the Táganan. This has some modest salinity but also some off notes that really detract from the overall quality of the wine for me. High acidity.

Fluorescent lemon yellow with green reflections; reduction on the nose, spicy volcanic minerality, ripe lemon, green herbs, deep and wild; elegant and charming palate with steely acidity, very energetic, clear and bright but gently flowing, gentle bitters; long and convincing finish. An excellent vintage of Palo Blanco. Drink now.
