Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • This was badly corked. I could smell the TCA on the cork and in the air before the wine was even poured into the glass. Has this producer heard that corks tested for TCA are available? Why not try DIAM?
For a producer in this day and age to use tainted corks is inexcusable. It shows a complete lack of concern for the retail purchaser who wants to try a new vintage release, pays his $50, and has to pour it down the drain.
