  • Excellent. Bright acidity, good red fruit aromas, and a lovely palate presence that brought whole cluster Burgundy to mind. Looking forward to following this producer.

  • PnPed into a Zalto Burgundy bowl. The nose was a wow right from the gate and made me swoon with a light and gossamer nose of crystal clear red fruits - wild strawberry, pomegranate and bing cherry. There is a woodsy spice and herbal undertone - mulberry bushes and green stems. The fruit is really pinpoint. The palate is very very savory at first and very light but clearly wound a lot with the acid and savoriness really exuding young Pinot.

With time the palate and finish open up and smooth out. Tart red fruits, savory herbs and green. Very lithe and crisp on the palate. The finish is clean and tart, long and savory and herbal - really dances on the tongue - very airy and transparent. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17/20.
