  • Yum. Dark berries. Lovely, velvety mouthfeel. Coffee, chocolate and toasty notes. Smooth and easy to drink. Great addition to cellar and will please a wide range of guests.

  • Late night at home. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, bright ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of violets, fresh animal meat, ripe strawberry, dark red cherries, black cherries, blackberry. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, just about high acidity, high alcohol (14.5%), soft plushy medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, savoury fresh earth and freshly killed animal meat with blood, sweet ripe dark red cherries, black cherries, blackberries, sweet spices and a touch of licorice. Sweet savoury medium+ finish
Very good quality. Great QPR and superb drinkability for a young Mourvedre. Such a unique expression of this varietal.
