WSET3 Course Notes; 4/28/2024-6/9/2024 (WineHouse, Los Angeles): A: Medium gold. N: Medium+ intensity. Pineapple, ripe peach, minerality. Marzipan, roasted walnut, kerosene but I also get a hint of brett. It's a developed wine. P: Dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol. Medium+ body, medium flavour intensity. Ripe apricot, yellow apple. Somehow, wet stones, too. Nuttiness. Medium finish. AQ: Good. Blind guessed that this was something Alsatian but I was unsure about the variety. 8/18 Drink now, not suitable for further ageing. In my personal opinion, it's even over the hill.
