Black cherry, plum, strong leather, tobacco, and light oak on the nose. Palate of bright cherry. On the finish, chocolate, cherry, and subtle earth/barnyard. Light acidity, moderate tannins. Lovely red blend.

14.1% alcohol. This is made from 100% Temecula grapes. Blend of Syrah, Cinsault, and Grenache. It was easily the best local wine we tasted out there in June. This is a pretty wine that is worthy on its own merits, without the curiosity that it's from one of the lesser-known regions in California. Deep red color. Lovely aromatics, with spicy black cherry and a hint of oak. In the mouth, fairly rich and concentrated. Lots of cherry fruit with enough acidity to keep it from seeming unfocused or flabby. Solid finish. Perhaps lacking somewhat in complexity, but it is quite pleasant to drink. B+/A-

Leather, earth and spice in the nose - mild peeper under mild fruit. Simple but quite satisfying.
