Hans tasting: This is completely different then the other two Wellington's. Big barnyard nose. Maybe not barnyard, since it wasn't neccesarily brett. But it was funky. Tarry. On the palate, the fruit came forward, although there was a lot of escondary stuff going on as well. I would have placed this as a Rhone wine. If you like this style, then it's a pretty nice bottle for $20. 85-87

Hans Krueger Selections Tasting (The Jug): Little funky barnyard on the nose at first. As it blows off, smokey tar and black plums emerge from the glass. Very lush and fruity on the front palate with an earthy finish with a bit of tannin. Definitely the most enjoyable of the Wellingtons in the tasting. Decent QPR as well.
