  • Clear violet-tinged ruby colour. Mild, sweetish aroma with a slight raw meat character, a little floral. Dry taste, quite high acidity, a little drying tannin; pomegranate perhaps, rather short. Not terribly inspiring, overpriced for the quality. [Unknown closure but not screwcap; 12.5% abv; Woodwinters, £22].
