  • 100% Malbec
    from Mendoza's Eastern and Uco Valley sustainably farmed vineyards
    at 2,600 - 4,300 feet planted in 1950-2005 with 3,200 vines/acre.
    15-day maceration with racking, punchdown, pumpovers, aeration,delestage.
    12-day fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
    Full malolactic.
    Aged 6-9 months in 225L oak barriques (French and American, 10% new),
    plus stainless steel tanks, and cement vats.
    13.5% Abv.
    Background: Estate founded in 2006 and dedicated to responsible,
    sustainable use of the environment.
    Named after the Tilia (Linden) tree commonly found throughout
    Argentina’s wine country.
    Winery: Tilia wines are made at Bodegas Esmeralda, a Catena family winery
    in the Eastern region of Mendoza
