Farge: Middels tett rød, med noe bruntoner, mursteinsrød kant. Duft: Moden, kirsebær, litt plomme, litt jordbær og bringebær, noe fat Smak: Middels fylde, endel frukt, bra syre. Litt firskåren / rustikk, men umiskjennelig pinot noir. Lang ettersmak.

Bright pale ruby. Big paler rim, but good density. Just a touch tawny throughout. Slightly square, rustic, nose with nice red & black fruit and a touch of cocoa butter. Palate entry is quite full and smooth though again with a rustic edge and herbal undertones. Good long finish. Not classy, but savoury, rustic and interesting. **

Manchester Burgundy Offline (Market Restaurant): 13% Served blind. There is youngish pinot - cherry/raspberry - fruit on the nose with a lift. Rather attracive, with a nice musky note. Fairly mature appearance. Very direct on the palate, with a real Burgundy character. A nice wine, but unimpressive.

Bright pale ruby. A broad paler rim, but good density of colour. Just a touch of tawniness throughout. Slightly four-square, rustic nose - with nice red and black fruit and a touch of cocoa butter. Palate entry is quite full and smooth, though again with a rustic edge, herbal undertones and a good long finish. Not classy, but appetising, savoury and interesting. **
