  Golden color, quite a subtle nose of orchard fruits. Good acidity, some good fruit on finish underpinned by a degree of minerality

  For the 2023 International Sauvignon Blanc Day, I opted for Rivetti’s La Spinetta Langhe Bianco 2019, a truly fine wine w solid grape characteristics, added star quality winemaking. Bright & clear straw-yellow w greenish reflections, emerging light golden in appearance. Nose brings elderflower, nettles, barrel spice, dried herbs & a slightly tropical touch. Absolutely superb mouthfeel, rich & round, yet w a striking acidity, minerality & loads of fresh sweet-touched tropical fruit. Great drive into a remarkably intense finish!
