Tasty Chardonnay from Anderson Valley. This is my favorite of the RM Chardonnays. Ripe apple, vanilla, slate on the nose. Palate confirms the nose with really nice acidity. 92 points.

Good Chardonnay but I think I’ve been spoiled by Aubert Chardonnay. Looking for lower price point as everyday white wine … still have Joy Road, Platt, and B. Thieriot to try out. These wines might benefit from decant or another year of aging.

Day 1: PNP, a strong petrol taste paired with an unbalanced acidity, 85 pts. Day 2: A totally different wine. The petrol taste is gone as is the unbalanced acidity. Tasted more like a high end chardonnay that I was expecting, 92 pts.

Lemony citrus. Improved with air and warming up a tad.

Red apple, pear, brioche, vanilla and lemon zest. Creamy with a long, soft, dry finish. Well balanced. Served with pumpkin soup.
