  • Classic Amarone characteristics of concentrated blue and black fruits, sweet licorice, dried fennel seeds, toasted star anise and cinnamon sticks. Good freshness and not as sweet as some other Amarone. Palate is clean, linear and balanced. Medium to full-bodied structure. This ends with some ripe fruits and vegetable elements, wrapped with a layer of fine tannins. Decanting is recommended to open up the mid-palate. Aging this for up to 10 years would be even better.
