  • Cassis and cherry dominate nose and the palate until midway where spiced mocha enters the picture. A long, satisfying, somewhat peppery finish twines about the aforementioned flavors. Savory and fruit notes play well with each here, and the tannins cradle everything in a gentle, loving embrace.
    This vintage yet has legs, and should be good until at least 2027 I think.

    Day 2
    The tannins -which weren't terribly strong to begin with- have relaxed further, yielding a smooth and deep exploration of the aforementioned aromas. The finish continues to linger wonderfully. Still very delicious.
