Community Tasting Notes (4) Avg Score: 92.8 points

  • Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of light gold colour, with medium consistent bubbles and legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of apple and pear, floral notes of acacia, sweet spice of ginger, mineral notes of steely, autolytic notes of biscuit. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with high acidity, the wine medium (-) alcohol, medium (-) body, with medium (+) intensity flavours of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of apple and pear, sweet spice of ginger, mineral notes of stony. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Very good quality Champagne with an intense nose showing good complexity, with the fruit and floral notes upfront, followed by more ginger and minerality. On the palate it has good acidity, vibrant and well-structured, with good concentration of flavours and a reasonable length on the finish. It is ready to drink now and can maintain for another 2-3 years.

  • This was really good! So aromatic and elegant, with substantial extract and a nice aftertaste. Quite acidic though. Definitely, a baby kill - wait some 5-10 years.

  • Vintus Trip preceeded by 2 days in Paris; 4/14/2023-4/20/2023: The aromas are of INTENSE minerality. Like sneezing while drinking mineral h2o. A bit more of a fresh butter note than the previous wines. All Cotes de Blanc - Cuis, Cremat, Oger...
6yrs on lees, 5g/l. 'Fresh butter, fresh almond'. Overall more dynamic and a character driven wine. Light floral notes and modestly potpourri.
