Balsamic, anise, fennel, black cherrry, dried mushrooms and dust on the nose. Palate adds an unmistakable leather note as well as some dried green herbs while continuing the aforementioned notes. If anything, the palate is even more fruit-backward than the nose; which I really like.
Medium + body with medium + acid and medium + lingering tannin. This is drinking very well now and is proof that you can find gems in Chianti DOC. You could age it 2-5 more years though.
