This wine has a nicely focused nose of ripe black and red fruits with smoke and baking spices. A subtle waft of mocha and espresso adds complexity. It has a medium to full body with a smooth and soft entry. There are notes of blackcurrant, black raspberry, and boysenberry, with a mid-palate of chocolate-covered raspberry. It's powdery texture and balanced alcohol create a gentle acidic rub. It is fleet of foot and the finish is medium to long with a hint of dried herbs.
