  Pours a thick dark purple, nearly opaque. Nose of cherry and cassis, dark fruits, vanilla and oak. Medium-full bodied, soft but notable tannins, balanced acidity, fruit, & tannins. Medium-long finish. Very nice elegantly balanced, great by itself or with food. Bigger and bolder than most zinfandel, but also less spicy and less cherry forward. An excellent wine, but not a typical zinfandel.
