Glassware: Zalto Universal Prep: Pop n' pour, followed over a couple days
Pear, key lime, white peach, tangerine peel, and oyster shell minerality on the nose and palate. While lighter in body and a little subdued yesterday, the wine opened up nicely today and has gained body and depth. It has a nice glycerine and waxy texture on the palate that lingers, carrying notes of stone fruit and chalky minerals on the finish. Saving my last bottle for extended aging, though per Saul the 2022 is even more chiseled and ageworthy.

Tasted after 40 minutes of air. Decanted and aggressively swirled. Starting to open. Hint of lime and seashore on the nose. Expressive pear fruit on the palate. Fruit is sweet but balanced by the firm acidity. I get slate notes on the mid palate. Another home run for Saul.

Popped and poured at fridge temp into a Grassl Liberte; consumed over two days. Hazy straw color. Mostly consistent with my last note, though this bottle had a more floral characteristic on the nose (almost slightly vegetal on night one) and an acid kick that just begs for food. This time around the palate conjured a lemonhead with some fresh mint joining on the palate.

This is very nice. Lots of key lime, oyster shell and pear. Good tight acidity keeps this well balanced. Very tasty stuff and at a great price.
