Seven course wine pairing - Canlis Seattle (Seattle, WA): Grenache blend. Color is medium ruby red. Very good pairing with one of the best duck dishes I've ever had. Wine smells a little like an old world Bordeaux blend. Red fruit on nose. Balanced. Med tannin. Delicate wine. WOTN at Canlis (Seattle) that night. However, it was served cooler than I like and it was so tasty I didn't allow it to warm up! Probably higher score at different temp! Wine list description: Jammy and earthy, with a mouth-watering finish

Smells like barnyard and barrel. And then a little tight on the palate, kinda stern on the palate, maybe it will be harmonize but maybe not.

Nose of cedar, exotic wood, leather... Very soft tannins, delicious, cèpes de Bordeaux.
