A private lunch (Restaurant Le Maufoux, Beaune, France): One barrel produced, 272 bottles and 12 magnums. Very light on its feet, almost ethereal, effortless elegance, just ripe, creamy lemon, steely acidity, silky texture, aromatic green herbs, attractive hint of sweet oak, balanced and silky, gentle bitters, very good length. A delicate wine to drink in its first decade.
