  Quite grippy on day 1 but day 2 is calmer and more balanced.

  My first of 4 bottles that I purchased from Last Bottle. For the price, I'm happy, but I didn't see anything special in this wine. I had it as part of a Mostly Zin and Pizza night with my wine group. Out of the 4 red wines (3 were Zins) it came in last. Nothing wrong with it, just pretty basic.

  This was my fourth bottle. I was not as impressed by the previous three, possibly due to using wrong stemware. In a Riedel Zin glass, this sings! Absolutely textbook Sonoma Zin! The fruit, the brightness, the slight minerality, it's all there in perfect proportions. I will definitely get more, if I get a chance.

  We've had two of the six bottles I've bought, and my score is based on potential. I hadn't read any of these TNs, and I'm surprised to see drinkers found this more ready to drink that I do. It has all the elements in place, but it definitely needs some time to come together. The first bottle in May was all over the place while we drank over two hours. Second bottle seemed like it was a bit better, especially with time. But I'm definitely not opening our next bottle for at least another year or so. I expect this will really come into its own around 2025-26. When it hits its stride, see it at 91+.
