  The bright-fruited nose wafts red plum, strawberry, currant, freshly picked rose petal, light cocoa, and Allspice. The chocolate infused finely grained tannin and soft, plush acid produce a nice medium body. The tannins coat the mouth while the acid prevents saturation. Flavors include dark and sweet cherry, blood orange, cocoa, and violet. It finishes seemingly heavier than the wine actually is, and with a quite peppery kick. Extending this over a few days adds weight, smooths the tannins, better integrates the fruit, and adds just a touch of sappiness. This needs at least a decade to begin resolving, and will probably be best in fifteen to twenty years.
