Flavors include dark and sweet cherry, blood orange, cocoa, and violet. It finishes seemingly heavier than the wine actually is, and with a quite peppery kick. Extending this over a few days adds weight, smooths the tannins, better integrates the fruit, and adds just a touch of sappiness. This needs at least a decade to begin resolving, and will probably be best in fifteen to twenty years.
