  • 90-91+. Ruby color. Nice bouquet of cherries, strawberries, spice, mineral and a hint of earth and smoke. Light to medium bodied with fresh vibrant fruit. Flavors of cherry, strawberry, tomato, spice, mineral with some earth. Good acidity with some soft tannins. Long finish with fruit and acidity. Drinking well now, will likely improve over the next year or two. Drink now to 2031. Maybe sooner. Very enjoyable, I think for the same $, the Gevrey Chambertin and Nuits St. Georges are far superior. As for QPR the Haut Cotes de Beaune and Aloxe Corton are better bang for your buck (stylistically its closest to Aloxe Corton - fruit forward over tannins and structure - not that these 2 don't have tannins and structure, but the fruit is the main feature). It is still different than the others so if you got the money and the space in your cellar, it may be worth having
