  Very unusual for new world Pinot which seem to me to be best drunk young v the burgundy way.
  This is also unburgundy in that is heavier and less fruity and had a peppery nose but it is drinking very well at age 13 and has lots of life and may improve

  A transparent brick red colour. The nose shows earth, a good balance of red and black fruit with some power and nice floral aromas. This may be in graceful decline, as the fruit is not overly concentrated and does not quite balance the medium plus acidity and the good amount of tannins still present. I suggest drinking now.
