Tasted again in the evening. Dark, almost blue. Fresh, juicy, crunchy, reminiscent of Morgon. Fruit forward - it's all fruit with a spicy finish. Charming and delicious, and was perhaps slightly less impressed with it than the afternoon's tasting.

Federica says that Barbera can age easily 15-20 years. Grown in plots all over Barolo, Barbera and Langhe. More complex fragrance than the previous two (Grignolino '22 and Dolcetto '22), but as much spice on the nose and similar sweet red berries. Quite spicy and peppery but not tannic at all. Lovely structure. Splendid wine.
