Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 88 points

  • During a walkabout tasting of Swiss and Austrian wines. I mainly focused on the Swiss Pinot s to see how things are developing in "Gantenbein's footsteps". On the positive side it was nice to see that the category has become quite dynamic with many young wine makers taking a stab at it. Quality is improving, although many wines are still quite rustic, so work in progress I would describe the scene. TN: No detailed tasting notes, only brief impressions. Both the 2015 and 2014 side by side had good fruit and structure, round, the 2014 a bit cooler and it is called G5 not G4 (dont ask me why). Medium finish.
