Banshee's 2022 Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc is a light golden blend of 96% Sauvignon Blanc, 3% Muscat Canelli and 1% Muscato Gallo, vinified entirely in stainless steel. Serially tasted over 90 minutes at a restaurant from a bottle that had been popped and poured, it is immediately aromatically expressive of white peaches, apricots, Bosc pears, tropical fruit, honeysuckle and ginger. Light-to-medium-bodied, crisply acidic and without noticeable alcohol (13.6%), it delivers flavors in line with the aromas, ramping up the tropical component with prominent notes of banana. Dense in the middle and medium-to-long on the back end, this is a fruit-forward, refreshing expression of the grape that will be appreciated by many tasters. Enjoy it over the next couple of years. Drink now-2025.

Medium intensity nose of white flowers and tropical fruit. Tastes of lemon, lime, peach, melon and gooseberry. Touch of minerality. Only medium acidity. Fairly long finish. A nice summer sipper made in a popular style. A good value.

Tropical fruit but not overwhelming, balanced by acid and mineral finish. Not overly complex, but good for the price point.
