  Had 1 glass on Day 1 after an hour of slo ox. Was tight and blocky plum and oak. Day 2 was much better with the last 2 glasses the best. Blackberry compote, baked plum, dark cherry, spice. Well structured, the core of this wine, highlighted by the oak, was dense and pure, and was outstanding with an overnight slo-ox in sealed bottle. I’ve found on many occasions that by letting out a 6 oz pour, storing overnight, really opens up the flavors. 93 day 1, 96 day 2.
