Amber in the glass. Interesting waxy, herbaceous nose around a core of fresh and bruised peach, grated ginger, and lemon peel. Full bodied and grippy on the palate with grapefruit coming through. Long finish. Won't be to everyone's tastes due to the skin contact but worth trying! Not sure how this one would develop, for the near term in my view.
WSET Notes:
Medium amber.
Pronounced on the nose with fresh and bruised peach, lemon peel, dried herbs, wax, ginger, orange bell pepper and tomato stalk. Developing.
Pronounced and dry on the palate with grapefruit coming through. Full body, medium alcohol, low tannins, medium plus acidity, long finish.
Drink now. Not suitable for aging or further aging.
