My first tasting of this wine and vintage for CellarTracker was on 1/16/2024. At 12 degrees C, the temperature of the second tasting was one degree C warmer; although the finish isn't quite as smooth this time around as it was described on 1/16, I'm retaining the score of 89.

13.5% alcohol; composite cork, maximum wine penetration into the cork is 2 mm, weak aroma of cork plus slight sourness; medium- to heavy-weight foil; long legs, burgundy color; opened, oxygenation hastened via Vinturi, tasted 10 minutes later at 11 degrees C, in a wine glass with a somewhat fluted top designed by Riedel for Pinot Noir; nose of sourness and fruitiness, rhubarb & sour cherry; fruit forward but not overly sweet -- sourness/fruitiness is a better description; lots of stone fruit, especially cherries, framed in a bed of mineral water; a full bodied Pinot, with components well integrated, lasting the length of the tongue through the medium to long finish; would be good paired with fries and fried chicken or fish at a tailgate party, all the better if your team won; I'm undecided between an 88 and 89, but since it fulfills everything you'd want at a sporting event and maintains its pleasant finish, I'm going for the higher score

Full flavoured, rich red cherries and decent balance. Slightly sweet and better served cool. Tannins a little lacking but a good quaffer.
