  A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Shiraz. 15% alcohol. On the nose ripe blackberries and cassis with a whiff of vanilla. Full bodied and robust, delivering ample ripe dark fruit (brambles and cassis) with some tannic bite and decent acidity. A bit of spicy oak on the medium long finish. Not much heat despite the high alcohol. Overall rather balanced for such a fruity and strong wine. Good value.
