Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 87 points

  • Method: glass at Augustine Wine Bar

Nose: meat/brisket, anise, black licorice, light cooked shiitake mushroom; great nose

Plate: cherry, light black pepper, light anise; medium finish; dry; good concentration, especially for its age; light+ body; medium- very fine tannin; medium- acidity

Overall thoughts: The palate's nothing special if you ignore the age of the wine (but impressive for it's age), but the nose is great and really carried this wine. Such a treat to try this. Good wine.
