This @shannonfamilyofwines Pinot Noir is from Lake County which is in the North Coast AVA (American Viticulture Area) of Northern California.
Garnet in color with the perfect blend of richness and elegance.
Full of bright juicy fruit with aromas and flavors of red cherry, cranberry and cola with touches of vanilla and baking spices.
This was well-balanced with a medium body, medium+ acidity, and medium-silky tannins.
Fun fact - the grapes for this wine are grown near the largest natural freshwater lake wholly within California - Clear Lake. This is significant because cool air gets funneled in from the lake which helps provide the bright acidity and fresh fruit flavors of this wine.
Also, it's believed to be the oldest lake in North America.

Wow what a surprise. One of the best QPR wine finds of 2023. Fresh Pinot Noir, very pure an amazing mouthfeel with a finish that makes it hard to wait for another sip.
A $12 purchase on Last Bottle. Sourced from a single vineyard on the Northern end of Mayacamas Mountain. 25% aged in new French oak. Here is a wine that punches above it's weight class. Scarlet color. A round wine with cranberry, smoke, cola and blueberry notes. Chewy finish. 90 points.
