Elegant red fruits, hints of subtle spices and gravel on the nose. Fresh and bright personality. Palate is dry and slightly grippy for now. Still young, need time for the tannins to fully integrate into the almost medium-bodied structure. Finish is clean and persistent. Ready to drink now with an hour of decanting.

This was a recommendation from a wine shop in Flatiron, NYC. I poured and I let it sit my glass for thirty minutes before I tasted. This is typical Bourgogne Rouge. It is medium bodied, medium colored, and has a sour Cherry finish. It could benefit from a bit more bottle age, but drinks fairly well for now. Is it worth $52 a bottle? Not really.
