Aged very well. Great color transitions from rose color to a strawberry hue to violent. Cheddar cheese and heavy mushroom on the nose. Lots more mushroom mixed with some hay and red fruit on the palate. Tannins still there. Wish I had this with a meal.

Well balanced. About at peak. Still some tannins, but good balance of dark fruits and a little baking spice. Had it with pork with dried fruit and Catalan spinach (Jose Andres recipe).

85/15 Merlot/Cab Franc. Cherry nose. Medium tannins still -- could age a couple more years, but drinks nicely now. Good match with venison. Good value at $20.

Cherry red, medium contentration. Floral nose of violets also displaying red fruit, cherry, raspberry. Light body, with young tannic structure, good acidity and enjoyable red fruit. I'd like to try this again in 2-3 years when then tannins should be softer.

Mushroom nose. Tart fruit. Weak body. Tobacco and tannins on the finish.
