light bright ruby colour and medium body. dark cherries and other berries mingle with soil and forest notes in the nose. in mouth, the fruit attack is soft and intensifies in the mid palate over a floor of black tea notes; herbal and floral complexities do come up and hint at depth that the wine is not quite yet showing. good length.
i'd give this about a handful of years… seems to have a subtle structure and good upside potential.
13.7% AbV; from young vines planted at exposed high elevations with thin volcanic topsoil; 10% whole-cluster; fourteen months' ageing in oak (10% new).

Light ruby in color with light intensity, and a great nose.
Showing red fruits with earth, wood, spices and dark chocolates.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Single Vineyard Oregon Pinot Noir is young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.
Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself as a sipping wine.
Aged for 14 months on its lees. Unfined.
13.7% alcohol by volume.
90 points.
$50.
