Double decanted to deal with broken cork and then slow oxed in resealed bottle for 5 hours. Served in zalto red burg glass. Nose of barnyard and tertiary/oxidised elements. Palate was pristine and initially showing typically vibrant 96 acidity with a slightly dry finish. In the glass the acidity and dry finish softened to leave a lovely, silky, pure, red and black fruited wine.

nothing like the traditional barnyard nose followed by the silky delicate well balanced palate found in a wine from an outstanding vineyard.
