At Emma Pizzeria, Rome: This has some of the Vie di Romans intensity, but without amping up the perfumed qualities of the Malvasia. Certainly the Malvasia fragrance is there, and the wine has a softer edge than other Vie di Romans wines, but there is a lot of flavor in each mouthful. One of the drinkers at our table didn't like it, but I would happily drink a lot more.
