Popped and poured. Thin-skinned variety. Pleasant enough. Very primary. Not very helpful, I’m sure, but this one is “Grapey” to me. Light-bodied. Minerality is dominant. Medium + acidity. Low tannins. Medium finish.

Light ruby. Nice pleasant and pretty nose of dusty red berries and minerality. Palate is very juicy, cranberry and tea notes, light to medium framed, and finishes with a nice jolt of red plum.
Was going to say, this is a very lovely little quaffer here, but that would be underplaying its excellence. Definite re-buy for me. Still hangs in on day 4. A nice Beaujolais is a great comp for this thinking back on this bottle.

Sampled at the winery tasting room in McMinnville. Another Jason Lett experiment... Didn't work so well for me, this seemed a little odd tasting and funky with some chalky dense tannins and charcoal notes. Very minerally, I didn't write anything down in my notes about fruit at all. Jury is out on this one...

Tasting pour at Eyrie. Nose is very clean and refreshing - fresh mountain flowers, traces of refreshing bath soap. Medium+ in body palate showing more structure than I anticipated.

Very delicate red fruit, light to medium body. Perfect for occasions when you would normally open a white but are in the mood for a red.
