  • Tasted at the “in town” tasting room in Dundee, OR which is a useful experience as this winery is rather complex to fully understand with its multiple winemakers and unique but varied “terroir” and history. I can’t do a lot of justice to that here but I would recommend it for a good understanding for what their wines are all about. This wine is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir pressed together and barrel fermented with cultured yeast. Easy to drink, though with a hint of tannin, mostly strawberry fruited with good depth of flavor and ageable, in that this doesn’t seem to be a rosé that needs to be drunk immediately and can last and perhaps improve for a couple/few years.
