The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, cedar, oak and black pepper. It tastes like blackberry, blueberry, black currant (cassis), raspberry, fig, prune, plum, coffee, medium toast, cedar, oak, vanilla, black pepper, tobacco and bell pepper. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

According to the label this is made in the Rapel valley by a winemaker whose cursive signature is to me unreadable. It is bottled by something called VLFE Ltda. Who knows. But what I do know is the product inside the bottle is remarkable. This is a wine of real depth. Layered plum like fruit. Plush, velvety tannins. Persistency on the palate. A really pleasant surprise for the price (I think around £9). Highly recommended.
