Lieu-dit Cru Richebourg Dinner (Primehouse - Chicago IL): Audouzed 3+ hours before poured. Also a robust color, fill almost as good as the ’59. Dry rose petal on the nose, taste of pleasant tea leaves. Nice flavors but simple. I found the finish to be around 10-15 seconds vs. the 1959’s finish of 45+ seconds. Elegant and nice, I thought this was no longer interesting after an hour in glass. Others still found it enchanting. Fun for its age but not for its fundamentals. Wish i did a pop-and-pour.

Lieux-dits-Cru Richebourg Dinner (Primehouse): Full garnet color. Forward perfumed sweet rose petal and cherry on the nose. A little less energy left on the palate with a bit more tannin and structure, but still a lovely old burg. Just not in the same leauge as the 59. This actually showed very well with the food, but did not have the staying power in the glass, becoming simple after 30-40 minutes. 93+ pts.

ERI Pre-Auction Wine Tasting (San Francisco CA): Wine tasting. Bottle with poor fill. Quite old, showing its age. Some very enjoyable earthy elements still contribute interesting charm.
