  This was a Barbaresco from a modern Barolo maker released recently from the cellar to retailers. This wine was well-kept by the maker until its release. Cedar and honey jam notes were excellent. One caveat, the maker used a storage kind of wax on top of the bottle; the wax was brittle and easy to crack, leaving glass-like dust; I took care of such dust carefully before opening the bottle.
