  • First Dutch bottle of wine that I have tried.
Very nice aromas showing floral and some mineral notes.
The only issue is that this wine is definitely not dry; nor does it have enough acidity to balance the R.S.
    I would estimate the RS at 8 - 12 g/l
A shame, because this threw off the balance of this wine.
Other than that, I don't believe Auxerrois can offer much more than this

  • Medium(-) golden-straw. On the nose golden delicious, yellow plum and sea spray/algea. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium alcohol and medium (+) body. Fatty texture not unlike pinot gris. Palate of yellow stone fruit, apple, mango and white pepper. Good length, defined finish with lingering pepper notes.
